The Base Outfit The top is made from swim fabric from Boho Fabrics, using the SewHere Easy T pattern (company no longer active). (Photo: Jill Hames) The pants are made from SBCC’s Manhattan Trousers pattern. (Photo: Jill Hames) I have worn this base outfit hiking and when I wanted to look nice while running errands. It’s all about the accessories. Sourcing the Accessories I don’t own all these accessories. For products found on Etsy, I looked for Star Sellers who ship from the US. I have used Pacsafe bags and know they are high quality. Any other brands are included because they had what I was looking for. None of the brands sponsored this post, they just happened to have what I was looking for. How to Use Outfit Inspiration Obviously, this is not a capsule wardrobe. Real life needs more than one top and one pair of trousers. However, if you wear a personal uniform, this post might give you ideas for how to adapt that uniform to different scenarios. This is also not a good travel wardrobe because packing seven pairs of shoes and seven handbags would take up more room than packing seven outfits. However, this post could give inspiration for small accessories that could add versatility to a reasonably small travel wardrobe. This post could also inspire someone doing one of the 30-day outfit challenges.
