Yesterday, Isaiah and I were free of Gone Ridin’ Ranch, except that we still need our checks. We talked to the office manager twice yesterday, asking for them. Then we went there this morning and Filip told us to come back this afternoon. What a pain! We stayed at Motel 6 (separate rooms). Tomorrow, I’ll leave for Billings. Mr. Nelson has offered to let me stay with him and his wife for the night. I hope I can quickly find a cheap place to live, then fly home for a visit. I should have just enough funds. Poor Farley! I was sad to leave her behind. Isaiah promised to find a home, a real home, for her. When we were putting her outside just before we left, she hid her face under Isaiah’s arm as he carried her. It was sad. *This is a stock photo from Canva. I don’t seem to have any photos from March and April 2007.
