"Leaf Peeping" is my response to discovering that people pay to go look at the same leaves that are in their backyard. My mind is boggled. Then I went on a weekend trip to the mountains a few hours from my town. The trip happened to be during peak leaf color. I began to understand the appeal, sort of. Maybe. "Leaf Peeping" is a playful protest song that gives the singer opportunity to play with character changes.
