 I was visiting at home from the middle of March until early May. I won’t bore you with the details of how many times my brother took me golfing or when I got a sore throat or which friends I visited. I’ll post any diary entries from those weeks that are relevant to my 5-year travels around the US. Expect two posts in mid-late December and then for the posting frequency to pick back up in January.

When Dad picked me up last Friday, he gave me white bell flowers. They are pretty and have lasted all week. This week, my brother took me to the driving range and I learned how to hit a golf ball. My plane from Minneapolis was late leaving because the pilot was late, along with the co-pilot. I was up at 4:15 and at the Billings airport by 5:00. I got through airport security by 5:30. It’s 6:15 now and I’m sitting in the airplane. I forgot I had a lighter in my carry-on. Yesterday, I drove from Jackson to Billings, going through Idaho. It wasn’t a bad drive. It took about 8 hours. I was more relaxed than on the cross-country trip. I am staying with Mr. Nelson and his wife, Eva. I got a ticket to fly home on March 9 - next Friday. 439.9 miles, 8 A.M. - 4 P.M. *This is a stock photo from Canva.
