Of humans tortured for living.

While ignoring the cries
Of humans condemned for existing.

A people who taught what is good,
While ignoring the sobs
Of humans dismissed for being.

Don’t forget where you came from.
Remember and be changed by it,
While hearing the talk
Of humans worthy of living. 

Don’t forget where you came from,
Knowing others will come from you
While telling the acts
Of humans, each given a choice.
